Parts of speech
The words we use in a sentence are called parts of speech.
In English language, all the words are classified into eight(8) based on their function and usage.
They are called parts of speech.
Lets see an example with explanation:
In the above sentences, there are some words. They are different kinds of parts of speech.
Let me explain them.
Tania = Noun (proper noun see in details)
Is = verb
In = preposition
Six = adjective
She = pronoun(personal pronoun see in details)
Very = adverb
and = conjucttion
hurrah = interjection
A word can be different parts of speech based on its position.

Noun( বিশেষ্য):
A noun is a name of anything. Noun is a naming word
Pronoun(সর্বনাম) :
Pronoun is used instead of a noun.
-নামের পরিবর্তে যে সকল শব্দ ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাকে ইংরেজিতে pronoun বলে।
A pronoun is used to stop the repeatition of noun.
✔ We use ‘he, she, we I, they’ instead of person(s)
✔ We use ’it’ instead of a thing/place/feeling
Adjective
Adjective is the word that modifies noun.
It expresses the state(good or bad, nice or ugly, low or high ) of noun or pronoun.
Adverb
Verb is a word that expresses some actions.Basically it is a functioning word.
Ex-The boy reads a book.
Here,The word ‘read’ expresses an activity or function.

Adverb is the word that modifies a verb,an adjective or another adverb.

Preposition places before a noun or pronoun and shows relation to the other words.
Ex- The laptop is on the table.

A conjunction is used in a sentence to join/connect two or more sentences, words or phrase.
Ex-He is poor but honest.

The word which expresses a strong and sudden emotion is called interjection.
